The product is meant to be used directly to the problem areas, including the forehead, around the mouth, and the eyes, before one applies moisturizer. It also claims to protect the delicate tissues from further distress and naturally fill fine lines.

In order to provide all of these things, we would expect to see a product with some pretty significant active ingredients.

De-ionized Water, Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis) Leaf Gel*, Vegetable Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Natural Aroma, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Green Tea Extract, Algae Extract, Soluble Collage and Cedar Bark Extract.

What Else Should I Know About Hyaluronic Acid Firming Serum?

All of the ingredients in this product are useless. Extracts cannot penetrate the epidermal layer of the skin, so that eliminates the more than half of the effectiveness of this serum, since it is primarily comprised of plant derivatives. Other than that, our research showed that when hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin, it is effective as a collagen stimulant.

However, there is no evidence to support the claim that taking it by mouth or applying it to the skin can prevent changes associated with aging. This means that the key active ingredient in this product does nothing. Further, soluble collagen includes collagen fragments that are too small to be able to integrate with the skin’s own collagen, meaning that they also do nothing.
