NightSkin

NightSkinUnlike other skin products that are simply developed by researchers and cosmetic manufacturers, NightSkin was developed by an experienced cosmetic surgeon.

By using the wisdom of the trade this developer is said to have a product that can stimulate elastin and collagen production, diminish aging spots, reduce the look of wrinkles, and protect skin by exfoliating and soothing.

NightSkin is specially formulated to work only at night while it is dark. Each ingredient is said to only work while there is no chance of meeting ultraviolet light. Results are advertised to appear in as little as one week, including not only diminished wrinkles but also improved skin texture and the reduction of adult acne. All this in one week? Is that actually possible?

What Ingredients are in NightSkin?

NightSkin only lists four of their ingredients. One of these is retinyl propionate that comes from vitamin A that is supposed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. However vitamin A must be in the right amounts to be effective and has not been proven to increase the production of collagen or elastin.

Glycolic acid is added as an exfoliator, while L-ascorbic acid is included for its antioxidant properties. Licorice extract is the final listed ingredient and is used to brighten skin. The NightSkin website mentions the addition of vitamin C but it is not listed among the ingredients.

What Else Should I Know About NightSkin?

NightSkin comes with several negatives. One of the largest negatives is that NightSkin does not list all of its ingredients. By not listing ingredients there is a much higher risk of allergic reaction, which happens more often than not. Many consumers reported burning, itching, and redness following using NightSkin.

Because this seems to be a common occurrence, the website advertises only using NightSkin every three days because the skin will “get used to” the product. With odds like this and the high probability that irritation will develop, whether or not spending nearly fifty dollars for one fluid ounce is probably not worth its risk.
