Evaporte

Evaporte says that it is” a fast acting and effective treatment against dark circles and puffiness” that form under the eye area. It also claims to be able to protect skin from sun damage and free radicals, which is essential when trying to prevent further signs of aging.

Evaporte is available online, but each small bottle costs $79.99, plus shipping. If we recommended such an expensive product to you, we would want to be assured that it would be effective. We need to look closely at the ingredients and at consumer reports before we can determine how effective Evaporte will be.

Ingredients

-Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone, or orange peel extract, is used for its abilities to avoid skin deterioration and repair the capillaries. It is essentially a vitamin exfoliate. Though it might temporarily brighten the skin, it will not permanently firm or lighten it.

-Dipeptide-2 is a peptide protein that promotes the decongestion of bags under the eye. Peptides are excellent ingredients in wrinkle creams, but we would hope to see at least three.

-N-Hydroxysuccinimide is used to help prevent the decomposition of hemoglobin. This process apparently helps restore color to the under-eye area, but this process is largely unproven.

-Palmitoyl Oligopeptide is used to strengthen and restore impaired cells, which helps stimulate collagen and thicken the skin.

-Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is a form of vitamin C. This will help to strengthen and brighten the skin temporarily.

What do these ingredients mean?

These ingredients were the only ones listed. We don’t know if Evaporte contains mostly peptides or mostly water. Because of this, we can’t determine that it will be effective.

“I have been using this as instructed for a couple of months and I can’t honestly tell any difference. Perhaps there is a difference but if so, it is way too subtle for me to notice. Given the price I expected to notice some difference! I would not recommend this given the price!!”

Conclusion

Given the lack of information and the negative consumer reviews, we would not recommend using Evaporte. It will be ineffective at best, but because we do not know the rest of the ingredients, it could even be harmful.
