Elastiderm is a wrinkle cream that is specifically designed to penetrate and redefine the eye area. Reports say that Elastiderm can provide results in two weeks and larger results in nine weeks. Not only does Elastiderm claim to fight wrinkles, but it also is said to diminish the look of skin discoloration from sun exposure and dark circles. With such gentle and powerful ingredients, does Elastiderm really work?
What Ingredients are in Elastiderm?
Elastiderm’s bi-mineral complex is composed of copper and zinc. As the combination was designed to restore collagen, this bi-mineral complex falls short. Zinc and copper have the ability to reduce acne breakouts but do not have the ability to stimulate collagen production. Malonic acid is a salt-based acid found in beets and also lacks collagen stimulating agents.
Blueberry extract is included for antioxidant purposes. Antioxidants have reasonable health benefits, but lack the potential to reverse the effects of aging. Penetrating therapeutics are also included for deep skin hydration.
Other ingredients include glycerol stearate, xanthan gum, licorice root, algae extract, talc, magnesium aluminum silicate, vitamin E, C13-15 alkane, glycerin, PEG-100 stearate, dimethicone, titanium dioxide, mica, iron oxides, alkyl benzoate, and others.
What Else Should I Know About Elastiderm?
Elastiderm is only sold through a physician’s prescription and is required to include all three products. The price of purchasing all three is out of most budgets. Elastiderm also does not include wrinkle-fighting ingredients nor do they list all their ingredients. Zinc, copper, and blueberries have not been proven in any way to reduce wrinkles or fight the signs of aging. Manufacturers also recommend using a sunscreen, making this application four times longer than necessary.
