The Best Moisturizers To Prevent Aging

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

If you want to prevent aging, one of the best ways you can go about it is to find the best moisturizers to prevent aging.  They are in fact one of the most vital ways that you can end up protecting your skin, and you literally should never actually go without them.  Why?

Because one of the major reasons that your skin ages at the rate at which it does is because it is losing moisture over time and the skin therefore thins at a faster rate than it would were it maintaining moisture.  Moreover, moisture actually naturally cushions the skin, making it more smooth and filled in in general.  Now if you have to reverse aging, it’s not going to work.  But if you use the best moisturizers to prevent aging, you may not have to deal with that for much longer.  So how do you find the best moisturizers to prevent aging?

There are a few basic ways to look at it.  First of all, you should never buy an oil based moisturizer unless it’s essential oils.  This will cause skin to be weighed down and unpleasant.  But if you get light, for example water based moisturizers, you will get the moisturizing without being weighed down, which is extremely important.  But big thing, you need to watch out for harmful preservatives.  These can be the major downfall of even the best otherwise moisturizers.

Anti-Wrinkle = Anti-Aging?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Is there really a difference between a good Anti Wrinkle product and a good Anti Aging product? What are the differences between the two types of product and are they similar in nature or just a different word to describe the same product?  In order to compare I will list the benefits that each type of products claims to help with.  Before I address what Anti wrinkle and Anti Aging products are good for it is important that to mention that person’s age always must be considered when choosing a wrinkle or anti aging product. It would be impossible to compare what product would be good for a 28 year old person compared to a 50 year old person.

After a little bit of research I have found that Anti wrinkle products and Anti Aging products are the same in nature and purpose. Sure some products use more potent or better ingredients than others thus will have a huge price difference but most ingredients have not been proven to help eliminate wrinkles or the signs of aging.  Both Antiwrinkle and Antiaging products claim to help with rough skin, wrinkles, bags under the eyes, sunspots, redness, rehydrates, soothes, and moisturizes the skin.   I truly believe that preventive maintenance is the best way to reduce wrinkles. Always wear a strong sunscreen and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible. Also utilizing a good moisturizer will help hydrate the skin and minimize the chances of wrinkles.  Also I truly believe like any product one must show patience and diligence in order to see some results.

Eyeseryl

There is but one peptide or for that matter ingredient in general that is proven to target the wrinkles, bags, and dark circles around your eyes.  Now if you have more iron, you actually combat dark circles, and most people are anemic without actually knowing it.  But t his being said, for the whole package, especially for developed dark circles, you want to use an ingredient called eyeseryl.  Eyeseryl is a natural peptide that has been clinically proven to target crow’s feet, dark circles, and bags surrounding the eyes and it shows significant and noticeable results within just 15 days.

It was first developed by a lab known as Lipotec, and it basically improves the vascular system, strengthens skin, prevents water retention, protects collagen, increases collagen production, strengthens and renews the cells, you get the basic idea.  Eyeseryl does it all, and it is able to work its way into that thin and delicate area around the eyes.  This being said, it has only been really tested around the eyes.  But it’s a big deal, and in clinical studies, basically 70% of subjects improved their condition within 15 days, and by about 30 days, 95% showed significant improvement.  So that’s obviously a big deal and frankly it’s not something to be ignored at all.

Collagen Pills

When I was younger, I had some bad acne and my mom was trying to fight wrinkles, and so on a trip we took to China, they actually got us to buy these little collagen pills.  I realize now it was stupid.  But at the time, it seemed like a brilliant idea.  That was back in the day when collagen was your major option, and I figured it would help to heal my skin in general.  Frankly, we should’ve known better, especially paying hundreds of dollars for one small box.

But the idea of supplementing collagen into the whole body sounded good.  This being said, I used part of the box and my mom used the other part, lasting for a couple months, and surprise, nothing happened.  Now collagen is without question outdated.  There are still collagen injections.  But with the fast break down and everything, it’s really not so worth it.  It certainly doesn’t last for long to say the least.  However, if they put peptides in a pill, were it in a high enough amount, I’m not sure I wouldn’t seriously consider it for my skin and for my body in general.  But chances are, it would be the same as the collagen pills.

Copper Peptides

Copper peptides have been around since some time in 1997, so over 10 years now.  They have been used to produce more collagen and elastin while actively rejuvenating the skin in general.  People across the world are of course trying to find a way to turn back the hands of time and otherwise help themselves to reduce wrinkles and other problems, and it has stood out even in a competitive market in general that has developed other solutions and even peptides since.

They are made up of a chloride solution that reacts with the amino acids and proteins decreasing fine lines and wrinkles, and actively improving the skin’s natural elasticity.  They have even been used to some degree to fight a certain amount of cellulite in some individuals.  It helps to actively rebuild tissue and otherwise repair damaged tissue that may lie under the skin and sabotage the top layers.  They have become one of the top kinds of peptides that you can find anywhere, and they have been able to produce results not realistically seen with other products.  So they are definitely worth checking out in your skincare regimen.  Sometimes even more so than some other peptides such as argireline.
