Rose Hip Benefits

Friday, August 28th, 2009

To be honest, there are plenty of ways to deal with your wrinkles, some more effective than others, and some more natural than others to say the least.  Rose oil in general has been known actually for its powerful antidepressant, antiseptic, and other effects in general terms.  However, rose hips are the fruity pod left on the flowers of the wild rose bush after the petals have fallen, and it has also been known for its own benefits to the skin in preventing the aging process.

They promote skin regeneration in general, and they have been known to soothe and heal sunburns as well as skin burns in general.  It has been used to repair dry and sun damaged skin and reduce or eliminate the appearance of scars while eliminating stretch marks.  In short, rose hips have been known at this time for quite a few different benefits.  It has even been used against acne, and it continues to prove itself in so many different ways.  Users are pleased as is science at this time.  It cannot reduce wrinkles once they are already there, because it doesn’t actually produce collagen and elastin.  But just preventing it and moisturizing the skin to nourish it is actually really good as well.

Chemical Peels

Friday, August 14th, 2009

You can go with more extreme measures in getting rid of your wrinkles, people do it every day.  It’s a simple fact of life, and the best known is definitely botox, and it’s one of the most popular.  But another popular one is the chemical peel.  Most people don’t realize that there are actually several different types of chemical peels, and frankly they have several different severity levels.  I would never personally suggest using a chemical peel.  It’s just not practical among other things, and if you’ve ever seen a botched chemical peel, the problems aren’t going away after 4 months as you would see with botox for example, not that botox is exactly great.

But frankly, if you have side effects and complications concerning a chemical peel, the problems are to some degree rather permanent.  So it would be suggested in many ways to actually watch out for it in various ways and basically assess the reality of things rather than jumping on some boat because you’re excited or whatnot.  I mean yes, it’s exciting.  But there’s no real reason to get on this boat and otherwise damage your face in general terms.  There are far too many risks.
